The new Apple iPhone 4 has made watching movies on the run easier than ever with the roll out of a new free iphone app from blockbuster. The Apple screen is second to none when it come to watching movies but this new app means you will be able to rent films straight to you phone. It’s a major plus in that you wont need to buy the film like you do with iTunes so the price to watch will come down.

So image the senerio you are away on business or have had you flight delayed and have a couple of hours to spare, there is ( as usual ) nothing on the TV and you want to watch the new latest release. Pop out your iphone and press a few buttons and have it sent to you mobile phone where ever you are. You wont be able to store the movie on your phone or rip it to your hard drive due the  copy write problems but you will have a certain amount of time ( currently 48 hours ) to watch the movie so you don’t have to watch it in one go.

I read through a respected iPhone Blog and like many others they have  thrown their weight behind this app and are promoting it well. This has come hot on the heals on the free iPhone offer from Blockbuster on late where they were giving away iphones to new subscribers. Blockbuster like many video retailers has been suffering of late due to the global recession and the free torrent download market.
